Terms and Conditions
For all of our Cambridge customers, when we carry out these fixed price tasks, we will:
Arrive within the timeslot agreed or advise if we are running late and keep you updated
These fixed prices are for Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, unless otherwise agreed.
An experienced electrician will attend and carry out your work
We will always keep the dust and mess to a minimum and tidy up after our work
Keep to our agreed price and advise of any faults or suggest further services if required.
Ask you to leave us feedback for the work done
All prices shown include VAT at the prevailing rate of 20%
These prices only apply to jobs in Cambridge and a radius of 25 miles – we are happy to go further by arrangement
For bookings of less than 2 hours we will offer a range of time that we will attend. We will endeavour to update you when we are on our way
For cancellations or amendments made at any time up to 24 hours before the appointment during Monday to Friday – for booking and cancellation purposes – Friday is assumed to be the previous day to Monday as the office is not open over the weekend.
If you cancel the appointment within 24 hours or over the weekend for a Monday, we may charge £50 or the 50% of the booking cost.
If our electrician is unable to get in or access is denied for any reason then we may charge for this visit.
If we are unable to attend, we will advise you with as much notice as possible. We will always aim to give greater than 24 hours notice.
Materials are provided at our cost plus 25% for all items over £10 cost net VAT, items under £10 will attract a higher markup. We are unable to hold all materials on our vans, so we may need to return or go and get materials within the booking time if they have not been pre-ordered at the time of booking.
If you are a new customer – we will open an account in your name with your details on our system and just to make you aware of our GDPR policy to protect your data. We do not share this with anyone else. We will only contact you for reasons such as product recalls from the manufacturer, warranty or faulty system return visit. We will also keep a record of the work done and certification on file for future reference and may contact you near to the time of any electrical testing required on your system. I trust that this is acceptable, please let us know in writing or at the time of booking, if not.
We are Part P registered electricians for domestic work and certification and registered with NICEIC domestic installer scheme and our membership number is EPP2572
We are ECA registered electrical contractors for work up to and including 400A for our commercial and industrial customers.
We have Public Liability Insurance cover up to £5M
