Here the team carried out new sub-main supplies from the main 2000A panel board to new equipment for our client in Biggleswade.

We built steel channel framework suspended from the purlins via M12 rod from a scissor lift as this was 8m from floor level and above equipment. Then ran our 5c95mm SWA to new TP+N switches.

Then power, containment and control wiring installed to commission the machines.

We've been fitting out and maintaining catering and hospitality oufits for years. Just before lockdown, we fitted out Calverleys Tap Room, a small scale brewery taproom in central Cambridge. Here we installed new power distribution, fire alarm, security, CCTV, emergency lighting to up to date & modern specifications whilst maintaining the existing feel of the old industrial unit (previously a vehicle garage) re-using as much of the old steel conduit and combining with new sympathetically. 

We have a good number of tech and manufacturing clients accross the region. From defective sensors, relays, heating elements, motors, fans and controls. At CES we have a good working knowledge of a wide range of production machines with PLC and inverter drive components either directly ourselves or through our partners.

We've been looking after Holiday Inn Impington, Cambridge for a decade now. This particular project was to install new bollard lighting along the roadway entrance to the hotel. Control via simple timeclock & photocell. Old lighting removed with new SWA cables installed to replace the old wiring. 

In Huntingdon, the oven had suffered a small fire and this was due to a defective temperature probe. We attended site to investigate and take all information to get a bespoke made probe and gland manufactured by our supplier. New item installed and connected to the controls - tested & operational.

On Mill Road, Cambridge, the old Oxfam shop was reborn into Finboys. This fish restaurant was opened by Richard & Jay and we fitted out all lighting including emergency lighting, new 100A TP+N supply to distribution board and all kitchen, shop & prep wiring, security and refrigeration supplies. 

We travelled to a solarfarm in Cornwall to install the HV & LV containment and cables from the new OFAN outdoor transformer to directly replace the old resin cast transformer. All LV single core 185mm rubber cables in parallel mounted trefoil on tray. Final connections to LV busbars in the substation and engaging our HV partners to complete the HV wiring, testing and commissioning.

We have been looking after a client in Foxton, Cambridge for a decade now. We have been moving their factory to a new site in Sawston Cambridge. This involved the installation of ladder rack containment, adapting busbar trunking , installation of 400A MCCB panel boards, new hi-bay lighting, machine & motor power and control wiring to inverter drive cabinets.

The third & fourth quarter of 2025 saw CES complete a job on Bateman Street, Cambridge for St Andrews Tutorial Services. Here we fitted out all new lighting and emergency lighting specified by Kosnic lighting and RAKO controls for us, all new TP+N RCBO distribution boards to replace old switchgear.

New Cat6 data cabling throughout for wall outlets and Access Points - two data cabinets fitted, terminated and tested for Sta Andrews College and Sancton wood School.
